The learners first attended a presentation by Grindrod on the company, as well as on a career in the maritime industry. JoTankers then gave a presentation on their company, and thereafter the learners and all parties to the excursion enjoyed a luncheon at Wilsons Wharf in the harbour.

JoTankers have announced that they will be extending their Understanding Shipping Bursary to the new Grade 12s in 2010. This news was very well received by the school as well as by the ICS, who are most appreciative of JoTankers involvement in upllfting this school.
